RIP - Gene Hackman

Update: Investigating police have determined that the death of Hackman, 95, and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, 64, is suspicious in nature. According to police the front door to their home was open.

I just watch a YouTube video about how he got the role of Reverend Scott in "The Poseidon Adventure" just yesterday.

In Good News Today: DOGE workers resign.

Musk staffers quit amid confusion over his latest ultimatum to government workers

Twenty-one workers resigned from his so-called Department of Government Efficiency in protest on Tuesday, saying in a letter that they refused to cooperate with the downsizing effort.

 

"We will not use our skills as technologists to compromise core government systems, jeopardize Americans' sensitive data, or dismantle critical public services," the employees wrote in a resignation posted online.

 

There was no immediate comment from DOGE on the resignations.

From of good friend of mine, and worldly traveler. This is a Norwegian art installation of a sledgehammer crushing a chrome swastika against Norwegian granite.

It’s called Knus Nazimen, Crush Nazism, and it’s outside of the Oslo train station where the Osvald Group set off a bomb to protest the inauguration of Nazi puppet Vidkun Quisling.

What we have today is the Ketamine Crackhead brandishing a chainsaw at a CPAC convention.  I honestly don't think a bomb is going to be necessary... can anyone get a handle on some banana peels?

Sad to hear of the passing of Lynne Marie, otherwise known as "Miss Yvonne" on Pee-Wee's Playhouse.  

 A brilliant show with brilliant actors and characters that was just way ahead of it's time.  Lynne Marie was 78.
