Sixty years ago today, February 15, Canada adopted the iconic red and white maple leaf flag as the national symbol. Thank you, Debra of She Who Seeks for this history lesson of the flag!
I visited Canada numerous times (so far) in my life. In my travels, I have found the people of the country to be truly lovely - it is a country of civility and unity.
Whenever I see the Canadian maple leaf, I feel... joy.
