It's FREE, and you can stream movies over your streaming boxes (we have Roku here). Husband discovered a YouTube video about them. Kanopy has our town library in the system, so I dug out my library card and created an account!
We were so, damn excited that we laid in bed... for four hours... scrolling through the thousands of titles to find something that we could both agree on... Net: Some things just never change.
But we were blown away by the volume of titles and genres! You get 16 movie "tokens" each month, most movies require 2 or 3 tokens to watch.
It was nice to have an alternative to Netflix. Did I say it is FREE?
There is also another FREE, worldwide service called Hoopla, however, our town library is not part of that network, yet...
We're working on it. 😀
And if you DON'T have a working library membership, it SHOULD be free to join one, too!
