I am forever grateful to have had Star Trek as an integral part of my life.  When I was 7 or 8, my big sister and I would watch the original series on her little RCA black and white TV in her bedroom.  I was mesmerized!  When it hit syndication in the 70's, Star Trek became the foundation to my daily life; my moral compass when the world around me had fallen apart - comfort through stormy times.  I have and will forever keep Star Trek in my heart, no matter how it evolves or changes.
