WASHINGTON (AP) — Approaching the fifth anniversary of the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol, the official plaque HONORING THE POLICE who defended democracy that day is nowhere to be found.
It’s not on display at the Capitol, as is required by law. Its whereabouts aren’t publicly known, though it’s believed to be in storage.
