Shall we celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day?
If you haven't already, read Heather Cox Richardson's post today concerning our demented prez's screed about Columbus Day. Nothing but an attempt...again...to revise and rewrite history. They may try to accomplish their goal, but they'll never be able to burn all the history books, and anyone with a modicum of education and knowledge of history will remember our truth. And there's far too many of us to round up and send to a gulag in Central America.
I do watch her; I like how she breaks down the issues, laying out an outline in succinct parts. All in under 30 minutes! The video has yet to hit her YouTube channel.
I used the day to swap my wardrobe; summers for winters, and a large back of stuff to go to the local Big Brothers / Big Sisters donation bin.
