Erik Loomis posted on Wonkette, in "Dick Cheney No Longer Still Undead" went further into detail of the shit Cheney bestowed on humanity over his lifetime. Of his time in Congress, Loomis writes;
"[Cheney] served five terms, leaving office in 1989. He was as horrible as you would expect. He voted against creating the Department of Education. He hated the idea of a holiday to honor Martin Luther King. He voted to defund Head Start. Of course, all of this just made him a rising star in a party increasingly committed to extremism. He was elected to be Chairman of the House Republican Conference in 1987 and then House Minority Whip in 1988."
I had thought he was much older than 84. Feels like he's been part of life, for, like, fucking ever.

Being anti-Trump was the ONLY positive check mark in Dick Cheney's ledger, that's for sure. Otherwise, the man was a pure war criminal.
And what's a shame, is that many Americans can't see your first paragraph at all. I don't know how people vote for him and don't see it.
