Snow, not Jon.

As we say in these parts; "We had a spot of weather come through overnight." As the morning is progressing, we have accumulated just about 4 inches of snow.  It's just gorgeous outside!    

That is the view of Mount Hope Bay.

Power was out a little over an hour overnight, but our home battery backup kicked in and kept things comfortable. First significant outage since the system was installed almost 4 years ago; the event only used 10% of the stored energy (and we had the furnace running!).  Spent the predawn shoveling out the driveway so the husband could get out to work; I refer to is as "The gym is now open". Still coming down, but expected to clear out within the hour.

The joy of (me) being retired; (now that the husband made it safely to work) I am just sitting back and enjoying watching the snow with the last of the mornings coffee.
