I'm damn proud of myself today; I changed out a leaking kitchen drain!
Before
Been wondering why we had this... swampy, musty smell coming from under the kitchen sink. Took the wall of cleaning supplies out to find that the sink trap and tail pipe were cracked and we had a puddle of... old water... saturating the back of the cabinet. Got it cleaned up and used the plastic pan to catch the dripping until I got to the hardware store this morning.
After
After two hours of work; new sink drain and stand pipe installed and tight as a drum, and the cabinet is DRY. Going to put down some contact paper to make it look a little less... distressed... in a day or so.
And no distractions...
Tomorrow, I get to mow the lawn... ye... haw.
