A great video from ReDriven on spotting the glut of AI generated garbage posted on YouTube.
This is a good video, not too long. Adam Morris of the channel outlines the frustrations they are hitting with the AI generated content, why it's bad and most importantly, how to spot the AI content. This goes hand in hand with the outline of the AI Social Media Influencers I posted a few weeks back. He does a good job o pointing out the fakes that actually DO look somewhat legitimate.
As Adam intones; if you're just looking at it for brainless entertainment, great! But when you are basing one of the largest financial obligations of your life on some hack generated AI slop that is encouraging you to "buy this!"; they have a problem. Same with, in the case of the automotive AI garbage, recommending a $50k+ vehicle as a teens first car.
It sucks when something we take as a tacit form of infotainment if being overtaken by slop garbage. Makes you want to go out and read a book or something...
Onward,
Rade
