Grab a mug and pull up a chair!

This is a blog by an adult for adults. Content will generally be PG-13 with a little beefcake now and then, however strong language may prevail, especially when commenting on the geopolitical BULLSHIT going on around the world. Otherwise, please enjoy the snark, some memes, okay, LOTS of memes, cats, and humor! Welcome!

Sunday Morning Sip

And a GLORIOUS Sunday to everyone!

Grab a cup and let's get started!

Well earned through dignity and honor.

...and we get a global disgrace.

And I need a LOT of it!

Thank you, Jackie Sue.  Love this quote.

Check.  Check. Check. Check. Check. Check. Check and Check.
Yup. No arguments here.

Coming to a Texas near you.

Fuck you, GOP.

Also, my stomach is FLAT, its just that the "L" is silent...

The joys of watching other peoples spawn.

A frequent visitor to our deck. A couple more weeks and they will
begin to migrate South again.

My teeth have been known to scare dentists.

Thank you, Wiley.

Pretty much sums up every time I leave the house.

And I leave you this fine First Sunday in September with..
"Star Trek - The Musical!"

From the second season of "Star Trek:Strange New Worlds",
the finale to the episode "Subspace Rhapsody".
We thought it was going to be silly, but it turned out to be really well done!
Husband even bought the soundtrack!

So good. But I can’t stop watching Idiots Everywhere (here, I mean, not everywhere).

I have never put a bumper sticker of any kind on my car. A car is seen by hundreds of people all the time, and any sticker, even something innocuous about Star Trek or whatever, is eventually going to antagonize somebody, whether it's a cop or some random asshole. What's the point of risking the hassle? It's not like anybody will be converted to supporting abortion rights because they saw a car with a sticker on it saying "abortion rights".

There is nothing more tedious these days than all the performative outrage.
