Sunday Morning Sip

Good Sunday to everyone!

Pour a cup; let's get this day rolling!

"LOOK!  I found SPRING!!!"

Like they follow any of the other 10...

Fabulous!

...when the thoughts drift off to the
Cape Cod National Seashore and all
the people I care to see.

Does it ever stop going up?

Uh-huh.

Happy "International Woman's Day"!

...oh, and while we're at it, let's also take
an hour away for the day. 😡

Well... let's put a pin in this and come back later.

Uh-huh.

Okay, math nerds. This one is for you!

Thoughts of Cape Cod are so relaxing and I can hear Patti Page singing.

Oh dear, the orchestra cat, LOL! And I like the meme you chose for International Women's Day too. There's SO much bullshit spraying out of the Manosphere these days about that topic, the BS Detector needs to spin faster!

My fantasy is to move out to the Cape. But the reality is... there other than shoreline and ocean, there is nothing much out there. Of that age where I look at support industries like health services, food and utilities. Outer Cape medical is... non-existent. About en par with going to a CVS pharmacy. Very few grocery stores, and you're paying the added shipping costs to buy the essentials. And every... every storm that hits the region seems to knock the power out on the Cape for hours and days. Not to mention that both the Borne and Sagamore bridges are about to undergo replacement construction that is estimated to last a decade or more. So... it's a fantasy. We'll work to steal away for a long weekend as able, but... (sigh).

I get sick to the stomach when I hear men speaking in "authority" on women's matters.

That numbers game was fascinating.
