Two days of yard work; raking, more raking. Oh, raking. Installed a new fence (from Hell). Will be for vines (Morning Glory). Arranged the pavers for moving the citrus outside. Oh, and more raking. Both of us woke up SORE and disheveled this morning.
Going offline for the remainder of the day. Still working though my first mug of coffee... hurts to hold the mug.
Did I say we were raking?
But it was just SPECTACULAR to be outside! Didn't want to stop.

Same here. Yesterday was the first sun we have seen in weeks and it was an outside yard work day. Transplanting, planting, digging paths, planting new border plants, general yard clean up and the smoky burn pile. Smells like Fall on the second day of Spring! Hot bubble bath and a martini takes away the aches and pains.
Mmmm... martini....
All your aches and pains will pay off with glorious flowers and plants in your raked yard!
Beautiful blog

Oh, raking. I don’t miss that. I feel for you!
Thank you!
Rainy / Drizzly day with SNOW in the forecast for overnight. Morning of errands and piece parts for the next round of yard stuff. A lot of memme's in their land yachts drifting around the highways at considerably less than reasonable speeds. My temperament was not exactly... pukka. Middle finger got a great workout. But home. 2 hours until I start dinner. Plenty of time to put alcohol on the wounds of the day. Did someone say "martini"...?
This... right now... is exactly the moment I love in our yard. All the leaves have been raked, the underbrush has been picked up and cleared, and all the bulbs are sprouting; many already in bloom. It looks CLEAN and VIBRANT and NEW.
I do suspect there is a condo in our future...
