Today in History
On Aug. 28, 1963, during the March on Washington, the Rev. Martin Luther
King Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech before an estimated
250,000 people in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
My... how times have changed...

I was surprised to realize I was only 9 years old at the time. I remember vividly seeing and listening to the speech on TV. So much has changed, so little has changed. What a brilliant man. What a leader and what an inspiration.
