Reported from the NYT: The great Terence Stamp has died at 87. He had a fabulous life — he starred on Broadway, was Oscar-nominated for Billy Budd, was a '60s sex symbol, worked with Fellini and Pasolini, was an iconic movie villain (General Zod in Superman), was in a slew of truly amazing films (The Limey) and was, of course, Bernadette in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
What a remarkable actor; I think I've seen just about every film he has been in! Would love to have seen him on stage.

He was often fearless in his roles. RIP
Debra is right --- he was fearless. That's what makes a great actor.
A remarkable actor indeed. No one could play the personality of Bernadette any better. Actually see a lot of myself in that character.
"A cock in a frock on a rock". Best line ever!
He was an exceptional actor and very nice to look at... and listen to.
He will be missed.
