I follow the YouTube channel by Canadian, Nick Lewis. Nick is an interior designer and frequently posts videos on design trends that need to be retired or passed over (I love his commentaries).
This morning, he posted a good video on AI being used to sell slop for home decor, and what he has noticed about the consistency with the content creators and the red flags to watch out for. How they use some emotional hook to suck you in and how the manipulate that hook for optimum payout.
He touches on how these AI vultures are undercutting the actual artisans who are making real, quality products. All in all, a good video and what to look out for when identifying the AI avatars out to scam you.
