I loved Barney! I loved his "No fucks to give" approach to the pre-MAGA / Astro turf crowd when Obama was elected. He was an extraordinary as a leader and and in his duties to the country. I am glad to have been able to see him in action.
I was sad to hear he entered into hospice a week ago.
He was 86.

A great man. I remember him telling a woman who talked about Obama being an Arab Muslim and not even American, “Ma’am, talking to you is like arguing with a table.”
RIP. He served his communities well.
