Content will generally be PG-13 with a little beefcake now and then, however strong language may prevail, especially when commenting on the geopolitical BULLSHIT going on at home and around the world. A movement from his FIRST shit show of an administration, but now he's so completely rife with corruption and constitutional ignorance, this seems fitting.

Ever hear the term "Read the room"?

Let me begin by saying I detest Starbucks. The only thing we ever get from there is a drink called the "Medicine Ball", which is a hot foamed lemonade and herbal tea drink that seems to mitigate a sore throat in short order.

Other than that, I have never, ever had a good cup of coffee from the franchise, the food is abysmal and like the coffee, grossly overpriced.  And no matter what franchise I go into, there are always insects buzzing around inside the display cases (do they ever clean?).

Interesting article in "The Beast" about Starbucks CEO Brian Niccoll saying that buying that $9 cup of coffee "is all about the experience".  As gas prices are hitting the $5 mark, and the cost of, like, everything has skyrocketed, glad to hear this dolt feels people still want to shell out almost $10 for a cup of swill.

Thankfully, the sore throats are far and few between. My rage towards Starbucks, however, seems to be incessant.

Going to push the "brew" button on my Black & Decker coffee maker and get the day rolling.  My daily pot of coffee runs around $0.42 cents ($19 for a 3lb tub of Maxwell House, I get about 45 days out of one tub, let's do the math). I get 12 cups (okay, that comes to 3 mugs) of coffee from a pot, meaning my mug of coffee runs, HEY!  $0.14 each!

Yet there is always a line through the parking lot at the local Starbucks franchise.

And people are whining that everything is so expensive, meanwhile, it has also been reported that Niccoll will not relocate to Seattle (SB home office), instead commutes in via private jet from California.  That tracks.
