This is a blog by an adult for adults. Content will generally be PG-13 with a little beefcake now and then, however strong language may prevail, especially when commenting on the geopolitical BULLSHIT going on at home and around the world. Otherwise, please enjoy the snark, comics, some memes, okay, LOTS of memes, cats, and (darkening) humor! Welcome!
About the current banner: Sunset over the East Bay
A bit of homoerotic art history here, especially the Jantzen man in the white suit by George Petty, mostly known for his female pin-up illustrations in the 40s-50s known as the Petty Girls. But he gave us guys some eye candy occasionally and stated that one of his artistic role models was the Arrow Collar Man artist in the early 1900s, J.C. Leyendecker. A prolific illustrator in many areas of advertising during that time, his male models exuded hypermasculine vibes and many of his magazine covers featured his life partner and lover Charles A. Beach.

Onto the weekend we go!
Love the old ads.
I always wondered where the Jantzen models hid their private parts.
