Final Sunday Sip of 2025

And here we are; the final Sunday of 2025. Let me end it as I began...

(sigh)

Fancy that. Asshole.

Seems to be a thread here this morning...

And moves at my own pace! I got the last of my "Summer Read"
sitting in the living room, gently awaiting my return.

I'll kick it up a notch with a pitcher of martini's!

And about as much as I care to do this year...

2025 in a nutshell...

...according to SCROTUS.

Farewell, 2025.

And we all know how that ended for Quint.

Good stuff this morning. After enjoying wine and an occasional beer for years, I began studying mixology during the Covid years, and have an extensive repertoire of cocktails to discover and share with friends and family. The libations have been well-received by all. I don't know whether to feel pride and elation or paralyzing fear for what may happen to these wonderful people. Whatever see you at 5 for Happy Hour(s).

Right there with you! During the Covid lock down, I taught myself to make one HELL of a great dirty martini! That, compounded with our not really into the bar scene and just the absolute paranoia about getting a DUI and we are so good with staying in.

Many years ago, we went to a jazz club WAY deep in Massachusetts. I had two martini's with the dinner. On the way home, I blew through a small town and got pulled over. I was honest with the cop; told him I had drinks with dinner several hours ago at the club. He actually let me off! Never drank out again (where I had to be the primary driver getting home).
